WEBJune 21, 2020 10:52 PM. Tony Dow had that late ‘50s/early ‘60s, wholesome but a touch of James Dean vibe. Don Grady had the wholesome ‘60s/before hippies/Vietnam War vibe. They were both cute and somewhat teen idols but without a great deal of sexuality. Both shows represented different eras.
